Day Ten

Great News,

I went and checked my blog this afternoon and low and behold there are google adsense ads on the right hand column, which must mean they approved me. Yesterday afternoon I was getting down hearted when I read that Google doesn't approve blogs that are newer than six months old. Obviously this is not the case in all situations because they certaintly have approved me here, however no amount of money has yet been made :( oh well early days yet.

I also successfully signed up to click-bank which is an online affiliate that allows you to promote other peoples products on your website for a slice of the product cost.

E.g Under the category "home and family" there are a bunch of products such as:

• GreenDiyEnergy which touts itself as a way to make your own solar panels for a low cost of $200 - if you manage to sell them the secret to doing this you can earn yourself $31.97 per sale.

I haven't tried this route yet because I haven't decided if I want to set up micro niche blogs and then sell them off or setup subdomains under my main domain and then keep them going.

To be honest the amount of things an Internet Marketeer does on a daily basis is quite incredible and it shows that there is money to be made but that it does require some actual nitty gritty work.

Anyhoo im off to create a Amazon Affiliate account as one of my friends has had some success at selling some books and things from them and hopefully I will too.

Day Nine

I read a few more blogs and forums about how to make money online today, the amount of information out there is just phenomenal. I was still awaiting my google adsense account to be approved so in terms of actual ground being made - nothing was really happening. I had an old domain however that was being hosted for me in New Zealand and I was paying for it still. Being that i have a dreamhost account paid up for a year I decided to invest the time to transfer it over. Its all said and done now and I've created a new blog on there about being a house husband. Other than that I read a good guide about niche blogging and flipping websites which apparently can make you a six figure income - I'm yet to believe that is true until I make my first $1, $10, or $100 a month.

To be honest trying to get things started online is getting bogged down really with the fact that I have to cook and clean each day for my family. Luckily I don't have kids yet or I would really be bogged down and have no time for an online life at all.
